Welcome to Canine Behavioral Specialists! We are a full-service dog training and positive behavior modification organization serving Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, Divide, Pueblo, Castle Rock, Parker, and Denver. Our goal is to achieve balance between people and their canine-counterparts through a pack-oriented philosophy. Owning a dog is for life and finding a trainer that you trust is extremely important. We treat every dog as if he was our own.

A Professional member of and certified dog trainer through the International Association of Canine Professionals and an AKC STAR Puppy and Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, I initially focused on the obedience side of dog training, but then I quickly developed an interest in understanding why dogs behave the way they do. An avid trainer for over fifteen years, I have learned a variety of different methods and philosophies regarding dog training and behavior modification, with an emphasis on pack behavior. (I come from the experience of managing my own pack of several years.) A student of dog psychology, it is through my observations, awareness, and first-hand experience that I am able to devise formulas to help dogs and their owners. My hundreds of hours of study and hands-on dog training allow people, and ultimately the dogs themselves, to put their trust in me. I succeed at rehabilitating and re-socializing dogs.

My goal is to achieve balance between canines and their human counterparts through a pack-oriented philosophy. I want to train people along with their dogs to teach and increase the understanding of canine behavior. It is because of this belief that many people are able to see a much different dog once they have gone through the training I offer.
